Disney Plus Log-In

Over the time we spent admiring the history of Rome, seeing the iconic sites that you can only dream about, it was funny how quickly it reminded me of childhood movies. Most particularly, the Disney classic Hercules. 

As we learned about this history of the area, we heard the stories of the Greek Gods and Goddesses as well as the Roman influence and telling of the stories. We toured temples and learned about the vast history of the influence. With that, came one of the most memorable portions of the trip to me: logging into Disney plus and watching Hercules in the living room, squeezed on the couch with all of my roommates. 

It was funny, the fact that learning about and seeing the history we read about in a classroom as a 4th grader or watched in movies like Hercules, could connect a community. Seeing those things in real life, connected cultures and put into perspective the history of our world but also how others celebrate and recognize that history. 

Over the course of time, stories have been told passed down from generation to generation, stories like Hercules. What an amazing thing it is we get to share these stories across cultures and somehow find ourselves packed onto a small couch, in the middle of Rome, watching one of the best animated Disney movies.
